Vintage 1940s black formal midi dress, with short sleeves, a subtle peplum waist, and sheer mesh trim with sequins. It has a metal side zipper for closure, and shoulder pads that could be removed with a seam ripper if desired. The dress is un-hemmed but the edge is finished so it is not fraying, and could be hemmed up with a blind stitch if desired. Sold as is with a few other condition notes, see details below.

Fits like: Women's small
Fabric: Feels like rayon, with mesh panels and sequins. Semi-sheer when held to light, would have originally been worn over a slip.
Brand: None
Condition: Good, with a tiny snag on the middle back, and some scattered missing sequins, most notably on the back where there are also some tiny holes left in their place (see close up). It may continue to lose sequins, but everything currently seems secure.
